Marketing designer & creative specialist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

Contract Position | Remote | 10-15 hours/week

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, creatively driven Marketing Designer & Creative Specialist to support Bondi Marketing, a growing marketing consultancy serving healthcare, wellness, and lifestyle brands. This role will also support internal Bondi marketing initiatives as the business grows.

This isn’t a traditional graphic design role. We need someone who can execute high-quality creative work while thinking strategically about brand consistency, marketing performance, and how creative supports client results.

You’ll be the creative backbone that allows our founder to focus on strategy and growth while ensuring client and internal marketing assets are polished, on-brand, and delivered on time.


Content & Social Email Design
(40% of role)
  • Design social media graphics across multiple client accounts using provided strategy, copy, and brand direction.
  • Create and refine branded templates for recurring content needs across platforms.
  • Design monthly email newsletters and supporting graphics in platforms such as Klaviyo, Flodesk, Kajabi, or similar.
  • Support email nurture sequences with visual assets, layout design, and branded content blocks. 
  • Create visual assets for Bondi Marketing’s own social media, email marketing, and lead generation efforts.

Marketing Asset & Campaign Design
(35% of role)
  • Design lead magnets, guides, brochures, PDFs, and other branded collateral for clients and internal agency marketing.
  • Create static paid ad graphics and variations for digital campaigns based on provided messaging and direction.
  • Support layout and visual polish for strategy decks, presentations, and client-facing proposals.
  • Assist with light landing page or funnel asset design as client needs grow.
  • Help translate strategy into visually engaging deliverables that are clear, compelling, and conversion-minded

Creative Operations & Cross-Business Operations
(25% of role)
  • Manage your design tasks and deadlines inside our project management system.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder and other team members to clarify priorities, timelines, and asset needs.
  • Organize files, templates, and creative assets so work is easy to locate, reuse, and scale
  • Flag bottlenecks, missing inputs, or creative needs before they affect timelines.
  • Support platform transitions or asset updates as needed, including updating graphics and branded materials across systems.

Essential Qualities
  • Marketing-minded designer: You understand that design is not just about making things look good — it needs to support strategy and performance.
  • Detail-oriented execution: You care deeply about alignment, readability, brand consistency, and polished final files.
  • Project management mindset: You can manage multiple deliverables and deadlines without constant oversight.
  • Proactive communication: You ask thoughtful questions, flag issues early, and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
  • Adaptable and collaborative: You’re comfortable working in a growing agency where priorities may shift and roles may evolve over time.
Experience Level
  • 3+ years in graphic design, marketing design, or a similar creative role.
  • Previous agency or fast-paced in-house marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience designing for social media, email marketing, digital ads, and branded collateral required.
  • Experience with healthcare, wellness, ecommerce, or service-based businesses is a plus.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong portfolio with examples of social media graphics, emails, paid ad creative, lead magnets, and presentation design.
  • Experience with Canva and at least one professional design tool such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with email platforms and marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Kajabi, Flodesk, or similar.
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines while also improving templates and systems over time.
  • Professional references available.

Compensation & Logistics
  • Contract basis: 1099 position with potential for full-time role
  • Hours: 10–15 hours/week to start, flexible within business hours.
  • Rate: Competitive based on experience
  • Growth path: Opportunity to increase responsibilities, hours, and compensation as the agency grows.
  • Remote work: Must be available for occasional video calls during CST business hours.
